The General Practice North (GPN) Committee is calling for nominations for a General Practitioner to
fill a position on the General Practice North Committee which will fall vacant when current GPN
Committee member Dr Magnus Agomuo completes his elected term at the AGM on Tuesday
29th November 2022.

As per the GPN Constitution Dr Magnus Agomuo is eligible to re-stand for
election to the GPN Committee for a further 3 years and he is willing to do so.

There are a minimum of four scheduled GPN Committee meetings per year each lasting
approximately 1 to 2 hours and also some out of session work. Since 2020 the GPN Committee
meetings have been held via Zoom and this is likely to continue for the foreseeable future with the
exception of a face to face GPN Committee meeting held in Scottsdale following an annual site visit
to Ochre Medical Centre Scottsdale.

The other current members of GPN Committee are Dr Anne Wilson (Chair), Dr Donald Rose
(Treasurer) and Dr Jehan Phillips. The GPN Committee is assisted by Mrs. Kelly Gregory,
GPN Administration Manager and Mrs Alison Clifford, GPN Financial Controller.

If you would like to nominate either yourself or another GP please complete the attached
Nomination Form and return to General Practice North Committee Elections: P.O. Box 632,
Launceston or by email: officegpnoth@gmail.com to be received by COB Monday 21st November
2022.

In the event of a ballot being required nominees will be asked to present a brief address to
the members at the AGM.
